The EU issued the EMC standard draft ETSI EN 301489-1 V2.1.0 under the RED directive, which has greatly changed the EMC standard ETSI EN 301489-1 V1.9.2 under the existing R&TTE directive. The main update is as follows:
1, Section 1, the environmental reference standard has increased the general standard of the industrial environment, and the removal of vehicle radio equipment needs to satisfy the requirements of the electromagnetic compatibility instructions.
2, Section 2, the standard EN 55022 (2006) +A1 (2007) is replaced by EN 55032 (2015), EN 61000-4-4 (2004) +A1 (2010) is replaced by EN 61000-4-4 (2012), and the power line communication equipment test standard EN 50561-3 (EN) and EN 50561-3 (2012) are added. The R&TTE instructions and EMC instructions are updated to the latest version of RED instructions and EMC instructions, and other references are deleted.
3, Section 4.3, the radio frequency band of radio equipment is described in detail, and the frequency range is extended to 6GHz.
4, section 6.3, detailed description of the transient performance of transmitter and receiver.
5, Section 8.2, the test standard is updated to EN55032, and the equipment used in industrial environment is included in the class A limit requirement.
6, section 8.4, increase: 30MHz and below PLC technology products CE limit reference standard EN 50561-1 requirements; 30MHz and below PLC technology products CE limit reference standard EN 50561-3 requirements.
7, section 8.7, replace the telecommunication port (Wired network port) with the cable network port.
8, Section 9.2, extending the frequency range of radiant immunity test from (80MHz-1GHz, 1.4-2.7GHz) to (80MHz-6GHz).
In chapter 9.8.2, the line to ground 1KV test is carried out for the outdoor symmetrical cable using 10/700 s waveform, and the line to ground 1KV and line to line 0.5KV tests are carried out for the outdoor asymmetric cables using 1.2/50 s s waveform.
9. Update appendix A to clarify the relationship between the standard and the RED directive and the EMC Directive's basic requirements.
10, change appendix C to appendix B, delete the related contents of C.1-C.3's combined radio equipment and non radio equipment.
Conclusion: this standard has not been included in OJ for reference only. This update mainly involves the use of the new standard EN55032; the expansion of RS test band makes the test time correspondingly longer; and the lightning test of outdoor signal cables increases the waveform requirements of 10/700 s.
