What is a high chair for children?
National standard (GB 22793.1-2008): chairs usually used by children from 6 months to 3 years old, used to support children, and can be kept on their seats by adjusting their own children. A tray can be attached to the chair for children to feed, eat or play. The chair is designed to be placed on the ground and enables children to sit close to the dining table.
European standard (EN 14988.1:2006+A1:2012): a free standing chair that raises children up to the height of the table. It supports children aged 6 to 36 months who can sit on their own in coordination.
International standard (ISO 1992:2015) and European standard (EN 14988.1:2006+A1:2012).
Two. When choosing suitable chairs for children, there are several aspects to note:
Conformity of national standards
Although the children's high chair is not mandatory 3C certification, but when we purchase, we need to see whether the product packaging is in line with the national standard GB 22793.1-2008, and only products with national standards will be relatively safe.
Safety performance of key parts of children's high chairs
(d) use visual and hand touch methods to check whether there are exposed open pipes, whether there are dangerous joints, whether there are sharp edges and sharp points, burrs, whether there are active parts clamped or cut in children's accessible areas.

Comfort and ease of use
Operate adjustable functions, including plates, backrest, pedals and seat height adjustment. These functions are easy to use and can be accurately located in every file, and can not be misplaced and locked in place.
The folding high chair must have a locking device to prevent accidental folding, repeatedly fold the folding device several times, see whether the operation device is flexible, and whether it can lock in place.
Buy a high chair that can be raised after folding. A high chair that can't stand can easily be knocked down against a wall.
A foot pedal supported by feet or legs. This is very important for supporting your baby's feet or calves. Adjustable foot support is very practical to meet the baby's growth needs.
Try moving or moving high chairs to see if they are convenient.
Cleaning and maintenance
Buy easy to clean materials. It is very important for a high chair to be cleaned easily because babies will inevitably get food on the high chairs that are easy to clean, which will make you more economical. Plastic or vinyl cushions and plastic plates are easier to clean than other materials.
I suggest you buy a high chair with a raised edge around the plate. Because the raised edge can stop food or water from falling to the ground. Some plates have two extensions on the left and right sides so that the baby's arms can be attached to it, and the baby will be more comfortable to use.
