The EU Rapid Alert System for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) is a special early warning mechanism for the protection of consumers' legitimate rights and interests in the EU, the United States and Canada to inform unqualified toys and baby products.
In the 9th-10th week of 2019, the EU RAPEX notified a total of 22 toy cases, including 1 case of the Australian Product Safety Recall official website, the US CPSC official website and the Canadian Ministry of Health official website. In addition to the Australian product safety recall official website, the notified case did not specify the origin of the toy abroad, and up to 22 cases related to China in all other notified cases. The notification reason report involved contains or is prone to small parts, excessive phthalate content, and excessive boron migration.
