At 7:28 on the evening of June 1st, CCTV financial channel (CCTV2) consumer advocate launched a special program for children's day, "how do you choose children's trolley?" After the program was broadcast, it attracted the attention of children's products industry and consumers.

In the process of making the program, Jiangsu billion Detection Technology Service Co., Ltd. (referred to as 100 billion test) has undertaken the testing task of the products involved in this program. The reporter bought several kinds of domestic and imported children's cars with different price ranges randomly from the market, and commissioned the mechanical physics laboratory, chemical laboratory and Textile Laboratory of 100 million branches to conduct professional tests on the mechanical and physical properties, chemical properties and textile combustion properties of these carts. The test is divided into the following parts:

1. design safety inspection

First, the completeness of the design is tested by the mechanical physics laboratory. The safety of the design is tested, including whether there are exposed open pipes in children's accessible areas, whether there are dangerous cracks in the body, and whether there are any small parts that can be swallowed or inhaled in the accessible areas of children's carts.

During the testing process, Chen Bixiang, a senior engineer in the mechanical physics laboratory, found that some of the children's trolleys purchased by CCTV reporters had unqualified exposed pipes, which exposing children to risk of being scratched by pipes.There are also some dangerous carping problems that do not meet the standards. Some dangerous cracks in the accessible area are likely to cause children to be cut or squeezed.

The test results showed that 4 of the 8 children's cars had the problem of appearance safety test.

2. brake stability test

Brake safety is very important in the use of children's cars. There are many horrifying tragedies abroad because of the lack of brakes.

According to the standard, the children's trolley with commutation can be installed with brake devices at both ends. The displacement of the brake must meet the standard requirements. We found that the brake clearance of some sample cars was too soft or the mating clearance of the brake teeth was too short, which directly led to the excessive skid braking of the trolley. In addition, some other two-way push pads do not have brake devices in two directions, which do not meet the requirements of standards.

As for brake stability, 100 billion inspection reminds consumers that in addition to the children's trolley with commutation, the brake device must be installed at both ends. We must pay attention to the brake teeth, too soft brake teeth or too short mating clearance of brake teeth, which will directly lead to slippage or even rollover.

3. folding mechanism locking device reliability test

At present, our national standard is to test the weight with the prescribed test weight. Generally, the tension of 200 cattle can not be folded in 5 seconds in the folding direction in the handlebar. During the testing of samples, our testing engineer put 15 kilograms of children's test models into children's cars for testing. It was found that when 155N was applied to a baby carriage, the baby carriage folded up because of its unbearable force. The result of the test is that one sample does not meet the standard requirements.

Billion test to remind consumers, folding unqualified children's car is likely to directly threaten the safety of children's lives.

4. strength test of handlebars

Another key mechanical performance of a baby carriage is the strength of handlebars. The strength of handlebars is simulated repeatedly through the machine to simulate the lifting and lowering of the opponent's wheels, so that the strength of the handlebars can be up to the standard in the prescribed number of times.

The test found that three of the 8 samples were unqualified, and 1, 3 and 4 were all reversed or tested. The other 2, 5, 6 and 7 were tested 800 times, no problem.

It is considered that the handlebars strength of children's trolley is also very important for children in the car. The strength of handlebars is not strong, and it is very likely that they can overturn or squeeze them.

5. chemical detection of toxic and harmful substances

Chemical detection of toxic and harmful substances is carried out by the 100 million chemical laboratory. Hu Aisheng, a senior engineer, told reporters that children may unconsciously eat the cloth and parts on the trolley. If there are chemical substances harmful to the body, the chemicals will remain and accumulate in the child's body after the children bite, which will eventually cause irreversible damage to the child's body.

Unqualified baby carriages may contain heavy metals, plasticizers, formaldehyde and other harmful substances. The test engineers in the chemistry lab sampled and tested all the locations of the eight accessible areas of the cart.

The test results showed that all the eight vehicles were accessible, and no heavy metals and plastic plasticizers were detected.

6. flame retardancy test of textiles

The flame retardancy test of textile fabrics on children's cars is also one of the most important indicators of safety. When burning occurs, the material with good flame retardancy can enable parents and adults to keep the children away from the fire source in time and save the fire scene.

At the textile laboratory, the textile parts of 8 samples of baby stroller samples were tailored and burned for testing. It is gratifying to note that the flame retardancy of the eight carts meets the relevant national standards through testing.
