On November 10, 2016 --11, the second National Committee of furniture Standardization Technical Committee and the 6 national furniture standards approval of office furniture, wooden cabinet and rack will be held in Hangzhou. The conference will review the work and work report in 2016 and deploy the 2017 work plan.

The main contents of the conference are as follows:

I. the second three committee meeting of the national furniture Standardization Technical Committee

(1) review of work in 2016

The main achievements of the 2016 national furniture standardization technical committee were summarized as follows:

(1) streamlining and integrating the mandatory furniture standards -- the home development commission carried out a clean-up assessment of the 14 mandatory national standards, 1 industry standards and 5 national mandatory revision projects for its centralized management, and put forward the reexamination proposals.

(2) to optimize the recommended standards of furniture, the current recommended national standard amounts to 54 items, the reexamination conclusion is 35 items that continue to be effective, 13 items are revised, and 6 items are transformed; the current recommended national standard revision plan amounts to 18 items; the review commentary is 18 items that continue to be effective; the current recommended industry standard 74, the review conclusion is 52 items, the revised 14 items, and the repealed items directly abolished.

(3) carry out the international standard activity of furniture -- ISO/TC136/WG4, namely, the creation working group is currently undertaken by our country.

(4) to study the comparison of furniture safety standards at home and abroad (18 safety standards, and compare 21 test methods and 120 indexes and methods).

The 6 national furniture standards for office furniture, wooden cabinets and shelves were finally examined and approved, and a standard approval document was issued, which was approved by the National Standards Committee.
