China Quality News Network recently, the State Food and Drug Administration in some cities organized the operation of key aquatic products special inspection and sampling inspection, detected 69 batches of substandard aquatic products, 1 batch of unqualified aquaculture water. The State Food and drug administration has asked local food and drug administration departments to make special efforts to improve the quality of antibiotics, banned compounds and veterinary drug residues in livestock and poultry products, and strengthen special inspection and supervision and sampling, and severely crack down on illegal and illegal acts of aquatic products quality and safety.

In the wholesale market, the market, supermarkets, restaurants and other 468 aquatic products business units, 808 batches of fresh aquatic products such as turbot (turbot), snakehead fish (snakehead fish) and snail fish were randomly selected in recent years, and the samples were malachite green, nitrofuran metabolites and chloramphenicol. The results of the inspection were 739 batches, the pass rate was 91.5%, and 69 batches of unqualified samples were detected. Among them, malachite green was not qualified 46 batches, nitrofuran metabolites were not qualified 21 batches, and chloramphenicol failed 3 batches. 327 batches of fresh aquatic products transport water and temporary water for sale were selected. The inspection items were malachite green and chloramphenicol. 1 batches of unqualified samples were detected, and the unqualified items were chloramphenicol, with a pass rate of 99.7%.

The main problems found in this special inspection were: first, the problem of illegal use of malachite green, nitrofuran and other banned drugs in the aquaculture of fresh aquatic products was more prominent; two, the illegal use of banned drugs involved a variety of fresh aquatic products, and the unqualified samples included not only turbot (turbot), snakehead (black fish), mandarin fish, but also grass carp, bass, crucian carp, prawn, shrimp and other fresh aquatic products.

In view of the unqualified products found in special inspections, the State Food and drug administration has instructed the relevant food and Drug Administration of provinces and municipalities directly under the central government to investigate and deal with the unqualified aquatic products business units and deal with them in accordance with the law.
