Japan is the traditional export market of China's foreign trade. About 70% of frozen Fujian baked eels are exported to Japan. Other bulk export products are mainly soya beans, frozen vegetables and boiled bamboo shoots. In 2016, the Fujian Bureau qualified for inspection and quarantine and exported 8604 batches of Japanese food, valued at $627 million. In the first quarter of this year, a total of 2174 exports and 147 million US dollars were exported. To this end, the Fujian Bureau reminded relevant export enterprises to communicate with Japanese customers in a timely manner, follow up the adjustment of Japanese inspection measures, fully understand and analyze the impact of the plan on their own export products, do well in risk analysis and prevention and control, and further improve the traceability system for Japanese products. The export enterprises should strictly control the quality of products exported from fields to finished products, strictly implement self inspection and self-control, conduct targeted product verification, carry out scientific planting and cultivation, reduce the use of agricultural chemicals, and improve the quality of products from the source. At the same time, we should promote product brand building, enhance the added value of products, and actively explore new markets such as "one belt along the way" and other countries, so as to find new economic growth points.
