Food and Drug Administration: 5 batches of sunscreen cosmetics failed_Yike Testing and Certification Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Yike Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd.)

In May 24, 2017, the official website of the State Food and Drug Administration issued a circular (General Administration's Circular on the 5 batches of sunscreen cosmetics unqualified (No. eightieth 2017). It was found that the 5 batches of sunscreen cosmetics were not qualified by the Liaoning provincial drug inspection and testing institute, Heilongjiang food and drug inspection and testing institute and the Jilin Food Inspection Institute, indicating the 5 batches of sunscreen cosmetics produced by 5 agents of Toni charming cosmetics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Ao Sia Industrial Co., Ltd.

According to the notice, the labelled agents (production) enterprises and substandard products are: Toni charming cosmetics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Toni's charming and delicate sunscreen cream (importing country Korea); Hera Watson skin care sunscreen (Guangzhou, Australia); the PAT'S light permeable isolation sunscreen (natural color) produced by Shenzhen green sun Cosmetics Co., Ltd.; the beauty of PAT'S sunscreen produced by Foshan Jiaxing Bioengineering Co., Ltd.; the angel sun run sunscreen lotion produced by Tianjin Shengshi Yong Ye Technology Development Co., Ltd.

The circular pointed out that the Agency (production) enterprises of the above products violated the provisions of the "Regulations on cosmetics hygiene supervision" and "Regulations on the administration of cosmetic labels". Tianjin and Guangdong food and drug administration are checking the relevant enterprises. The State Food and drug administration requires all cosmetics business enterprises to stop selling the above-mentioned products. The relevant provinces (municipalities) and the food and drug administration shall check and urge relevant agents (production) enterprises to promptly take recalls and other related measures for the products that have been sold on the market, investigate and deal with them in strict accordance with the law and disclose relevant information in a timely manner. The products that only identify the non compliant products shall be ordered to continue to be listed and sold by the relevant agency (production) enterprises within a specified time after correction. For those suspected of counterfeiting products, a thorough investigation should be conducted on the channels of purchase of the relevant business enterprises, and they will severely crack down on the manufacture and sale of fake and shoddy cosmetics, and the transfer of suspected crimes shall be handed over to the public security organs in accordance with the law. The relevant provinces (municipalities) and the food and Drug Administration will report the situation to the State Food and drug administration before June 16, 2017.
