In April 25, 2018, the European Commission issued a resolution (EU) 2018/636 in the official communiqu, which formally identified the two benzyl hexyl carboxylate (DCHP) as a highly concerned substance (SVHCs). In addition, in April 19, 2018, the European Commission issued a resolution (EU) 2018/594 in the official communiqu. It formally identified benzene -1,2,4- three carboxylic acid -1,2- anhydride (TMA three) as a highly concerned substance (SVHCs). Therefore, the SVHC candidate list material will increase from 181 to 183.

With the continuous updating of the SVHC list, enterprises are facing more and more control requirements. Enterprises need to raise their risk awareness of products. Within 6 months after the inclusion of SVHC in the list of candidates, eligible enterprises need to complete the SVHC notification in their products. It is suggested that enterprises should investigate the supply chain as early as possible so as to respond calmly to changes in laws and regulations.
